The Hanover Public Library has been serving the community since 1906. We are a Carnegie library, serving our community since 1912. The Library, Town Hall and Civic Theatre was renovated in 1995 to become the Civic Centre we know today. Hanover Library has something for everyone, join today!
In accordance with the Ontario Public Libraries Act, the library is governed by a volunteer Library Board, and funded by the Town of Hanover with support from the Province of Ontario.

Meetings of the Library Board
Regular meetings take place on the 4th Thursday of the month, at 6 pm. Meetings are open to the public. Please let the Chief Librarian know if you would like to attend. Agenda and reports are available on request at the library the week of the meeting.
