July 4th | 10 am – 8 pm
We want to welcome the community back to the library so we’re having a party! Come in on July 4th for a fun-filled open house day full of library and community programmes. Refresh your membership and we will remove all your old fines!!

Schedule of events
- 10:15 – Hanover Town Crier to re-open the Local History Room
- 10:15 – Tour of Local History collection
- 10:30 – Town Crier will give a talk on her duties and Town Crier Traditions
- 11:00 – Tim from The Colour Jar will talk about Book Binding
- 12:00 – pm – Library staff will demo Book Repair and Covering
- 1:00 pm – LaunchPad to talk about programming for youth
- 2:00 pm – Library staff will demo the Libby App for e-books and audiobooks
- 3:00 pm – Library staff will introduce and demo our new CELA devices for individuals with print disabilities or visual impairments
- 4:00 pm – Local children’s author Ellen Rumsey will do a reading, and copies of her books will be available for purchase at the library
- 4:00 pm – Library staff will demo Ancestry Library Edition
- 5:00 pm – Ginger Press will talk about Book Publishing
- 6:00 pm – Library staff will demo Ancestry Library Edition
