Adult Summer Reading Challenge 2019

A summer reading club for adults! We’re going to challenge you to read around the world in 7 books! Pick up a passport and a suggested book list from the library and get started reading around the world!

Read a book from each continent and bring your passport back to be stamped. When you passport is filled you can be entered into a draw to win one of the following great prizes:

Learn how to have an attitude of gratitude! Hanover resident, Stephanie Clark will guide you to discover the power of gratitude through journaling. Sharing facts, poetry, and prose, Stephanie –a writer by trade – will prompt you to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboards) to express sincere words of gratitude. Scientific research now shows that genuine gratitude has incredible benefits for physical and mental health.

Writer’s Workshop

Our annual Writer’s Workshop this year will feature critically acclaimed author Robert Rotenberg. Robert is a lawyer and the author of several legal thriller books set in Toronto. He has been called ‘Canada’s John Grisham’. This event promises to be an excellent opportunity to learn about writing from a successful Canadian author! Sponsored by Hanover Honda.
